This tutorial is for those who intend to use it as an encyclopedia of brewery knowledge. I have condensed the information down for easier read. Hopefully, I will update this post along with the staff when the plug-in evolves. The worked up brewing process will bring a further extensive use of potions, which, through their effects, have created the drunken slur and experience made new to Destruction Craft. Learn the art of brewing through fermenting, distilling and barrel ageing on DC. Experience how, from spring water and wheat, through hard work, a cool beer is created. Distill high-proof liquor, which gets that unique taste after some ageing in oak barrels. Fill the taverns with laughter and loud music, while the drunkards scuffle on the streets. Features Brew alcoholic beverages, that can make you drunk The drunk will stagger, have a slur in their chat, with many effects and more Waking up after a heavy night of drinks, /home is where you'll be Brewing will have various steps like fermenting, distilling and ageing Become a master of the brew and tackle the challenge of the difficult drinks Unlike vanilla Minecraft potions take a lot longer time to reach perfection for hard obtainable items waiting for them to finish. It depends on the recipe and process will make it challenging and time-consuming to perfect. High precision is involved with the ingredients, fermenting, distilling and ageing. Therefore, if a step had not performed well then the overall outcome of the brew may not be quite right - leading to negative effects of bad intoxicants. Fermenting This consists of fresh ingredients being used Place cauldron over a heat source (fire of some sort) Fill the cauldron with water Add ingredients with a rightclick Wait while they ferment Fill in the glass bottles You can use a clock to judge how long the cauldron will take for ingredients to ferment Distilling Put the fermented brew into the brewing stand Add glowstone dust as a 'filter' - on top of the stand. The filter will not be consumed. Ageing A barrel is required for ageing, it can be built in two ways Small Barrel Use 8 wooden stairs to build a barrel shape Place a sign on the lower right side to write "Barrel" in the upper line. A message "Barrel created" should appear. Big Barrel Use 5 Fences, 16 Wooden stairs, and 18 wood planks to build a barrel shape. Attach a Spigot (Fence) and a Sign that has "Barrel" written on the first Line A message "Barrel created" should appear - you may remove the sign of the Big Barrel after it has been created. The small Barrel is opened with a right click on the sign, the big barrel with a right click on the spigot (fence). Put the Bottles into the Barrels for ageing. Depending on the Recipe the Type of wood used may alter the quality of the aged Brew. The Barrel should not be destroyed while ageing, as it would leak after a short while. When breaking the Spigot, everything inside will be spit out. Drinking The amount of alcohol inside the brew will be applied to the player when drinking. Depending on the quality of it, that may have different effects. The Player may not be able to walk normally anymore, he will weave, making it almost impossible to walk straight Effects like Blindness, Confusion, Poison etc. occur The chat will be altered depending on drunkenness, many things players write may be incomprehensible, sometimes it seems senseless !! If the alcohol is particularly strong, it may have poisonous effects After drinking a lot, there is a chance of vomiting When logging off, the player may have difficulties reaching his character, thus some loggins shortly after may be denied After overdrinking the player may faint (Disconnect) Getting Sober After drinking it takes a while until the alcohol is completely gone. During that time the alcohol level is steadily decreasing. It can be decreased by consuming milk or bread as well. When logging off extremely drunk, it may happen that, if the player logs back in after a while, he may find himself at an completely unknown place in the middle of nowhere having no idea how he got there. But if he logs back in after some hours or next morning, he will find himself at /home, again without any memories. Also if the alcohol was not of best quality, the player may face some bad type of hangover (slowness and hunger). There may be bugs with the ingredients that require special placement for the cauldron to accept those. I haven't seen any bugs or found any, if you have found them. Please hit them up in the 'Suggestion and Feedback' - as this is a Guide for Brewery. Although I have provided this information, it is taken from the Brewery plugin wiki, we haven't created the plugin for which we take no credit.
